Many rains
From small seed to sweet
Ripe mangoes
Savor joys
Of the first harvest
Pluck the toil
Carefree tree
Survives one more day
Mangoes ripe
Joy of first mango in the garden inspired this haiku. A message also being try to convey- most of us value things only when we realise it's worth. The mango tree lived a carefree life, from an unknown seed it had sprouted, had seen many summers, fed always by mother earth!. From now on, you get attention, water and love!
This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights. The prompt for this week is Joy.
My mouth is watering with ur description... Get a mango frm ur tree wen u cm.. ;) Nice msg..
ReplyDeleteHa ha, sure PJP :)
DeleteLove the message that you coney in this haiku.
ReplyDeleteGood one Jaideep..but I get always confused with my own interpretation when you give explanation...it creates a boundry...let haiku show or speak for itself..my suggestion..explain if a visitor poses a question...leave it to the wisdom..don't tell from where the words came.. let them shine...in thier own glory..
ReplyDeleteSure RS sir, I'l give it a try soon!
DeleteOh how I miss the local mangoes we used to have. In Europe they just don't taste the same because of being picked unripe and transported thousands of miles. Mango is essence of joy!
