Seven shades..

Image- Seven shades, By Admin

A peacock
Sheds a feather for
First shower

Seven shades
In a moonless night
Tempts to fetch

Distant dreams
Ordinary me
Pen marvels

Goals are always at a distance. Or to put it in a different way- distant things become our goals. Why confine goals to a thing or an object, make it a dream, make it a marvel!

This Haiku is written for Haiku HeightsOSI and Haiku My Heart. The prompt for this week is Ordinary.

  8. Set begins very mystically, then anchors with the last 3 lines....I could feel myself coming back to earth, humbly....

  24. OMG. Wow. simply wow. "seven shades in a moonless night tempts to fetch" this one was a total rocker. and i agree with you. if we dont cast our eyes far beyond what they can see, we can never search for the extraordinary in ordinary things. how can we set our dreams then? :)
and i must say, your pen marvels big time :) :D
i simply LOVED this one :)

  25. Between the light of the morning and the moonless night, there is a (DISTANT DREAM) which a poet seeks to make it come true through seeing the extraordinary(PEN MARVELS) by observing the ordinary:(THE LOSS OF THE FIRST FEATHER, THE SEVEN SHADES).
    Stunning set of haiku.
    Enjoyed reading.
