Snowy song
Rises from the sea
Shore calms tides
Dolphin pod
Crafting symphony
Leaps to sky
Huntsman marks
Poor soul reap riches
Guns wisdom
If we look around, our ecosystem is really a wonderland. Time again, man has repeatedly hurt it. To an extent that our fellow beings have become extinct. With wisdom, save the world, save our friends!
This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights and Haiku My Heart. The prompt for this week is Wisdom.
Second haiku... beauty! Dolphins r such friendly creatures.. shame on the ppl who hunt on em!
ReplyDeletedolphin was just a metaphor, wildlife is ruthlessly hunted these days, really really sad,.
DeleteI like the idea of dolphin pods crafting symphonies--sweet music for the world!
ReplyDeleteGathering Wisdom
Thanks MMT, I actually saw them do in a beach here!

DeleteLovely set specially the first one ~ Cheers ~
ReplyDeleteThanks and cheers!
DeleteHard to believe that there exist rituals in modern day word which involve mindless killing of creatures. Beautifully penned. Dolphins, forever adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteyup, and that too in huge numbers, really sad thing.
DeleteEnjoyed all three. Favorite is the second
ReplyDeleteSame here, this came out when I actually saw them do that :)
DeleteThat is just what I was thinking!
ReplyDeleteYa, even this looks perfect, my storyline was to tell that the hunter forgoes his wisdom to kill the dolphin, appreciate your beautiful effort :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the suggestion that you made in next comment, you are one gem of talent, thank you :)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully crafted and poignant.
ReplyDeletewonderful photo, beautiful haiku, true words!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit :)
Deletemy heart is breaking.
ReplyDeleteAhh, sorry on that, also happy that I could make an impact!
DeleteThis set was a challenge for me. I didn't see a poem but fragmnents.
ReplyDeleteFor example:Guns wisdom, looks like a piece of puzzle which is not glued to the other pieces of the poem. I kept thinking about the reason till I came to the conclusion that killing nature, symbolized by dolphins, turns our environment into non coherent fragments.
So, I prefer not to paraphrase this set but to keep it as it is because such fragments are significant.
~Rita
You got it right for the last line, it was really a tricky choice for me to make dolphin metaphor for environment..
DeleteThanks for your intellectual comment, keep coming :)
Yes, we need to conserve our environment with our wisdom...Powerful haiku with beautiful message...
ReplyDeleteAnd it has be our highest priority too, thank you!
DeleteI agree, we as 'Stewards of the Earth' are doing a very poor job.
