Last word..

Mixed feelings
Razor sharp deep rays
The last word

Unique prompts
Heart warming visions
The last word

Fireflies glowed
Sketches in darkness
The last word

I henceforth won't be writing poetry in this unique form- haiku. Journey has been splendid. Lot of new idea, criticism, praises, friendships, just like Firefly sketching in darkness. I'll try my luck with other forms. Perfect prompt to end too! Thank you all and best wishes!

This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights and Haiku My Heart. The prompt for this week is First.

  1. The third is beautiful. Please don't limit yourself, don't quit haiku to try new forms, there's room for all.

  2. I wish you well in your journey ~ In the end, I think the words are more important than the form ~

  3. Great!
The greatest thing about a journey is how you insert your mental journey in the reality of your everyday life.

  5. It's a choice, Jaideep! Do whatever is comfortable. Form is not important! Come back when you feel like it but continue writing. Your haiku is perfect. Don't make it the last word!

  6. That is one beautiful set.

But why is this the last one? You can try other forms and continue writing Haiku too. Hmm?? :-)

  9. It's all about the journey, isn't it? I go through waves of inspiration and nothingness and all you can do is ride the waves...
