Lone world..

Image- Lone word, By Admin

All the time
I smiled at strangers
World at me

Never thought
Twice before I walked
Held new hands

Names misspelt
Mom is the lone word
Voiced my soul

It's a heartfelt haiku. Let's make this world a true global village. Hold new hands!

This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights and Haiku My Heart. The prompt for this week is Support.

Please read my haiku- Masks of Wonderland that I wrote for a poetry competition by Manipal Blog.com. I'll highly appreciate your comments, likes and shares. Thank you for your constant Support (Thanks Leo for the right timing of the prompt!).

Dolphin pod..

Image- Symphony,By Admin

Snowy song
Rises from the sea
Shore calms tides

Dolphin pod
Crafting symphony
 Leaps to sky

Huntsman marks
Poor soul reap riches
Guns wisdom

If we look around, our ecosystem is really a wonderland. Time again, man has repeatedly hurt it. To an extent that our fellow beings have become extinct. With wisdom, save the world, save our friends!

This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights and Haiku My Heart. The prompt for this week is Wisdom.

Seven shades..

Image- Seven shades, By Admin

A peacock
Sheds a feather for
First shower

Seven shades
In a moonless night
Tempts to fetch

Distant dreams
Ordinary me
Pen marvels

Goals are always at a distance. Or to put it in a different way- distant things become our goals. Why confine goals to a thing or an object, make it a dream, make it a marvel!

This Haiku is written for Haiku HeightsOSI and Haiku My Heart. The prompt for this week is Ordinary.

Scattered books
Zillion good luck notes
Hidden mails

Goodbye hugs
Emotional heart
Set on fire

Set on fire
Lamp is bound to glow
Rest I lock

We move on. Or rather life moves on. Graduation time is a crucial point as world thinks that we are capable of delivering wonders. Dreams gone, goals ahead. Celebrate that it happened. Lock the treasures!

This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights and Haiku My Heart. The prompt for this week is Lock.

Mango tree..

Image-Tree and huts, By Admin

Many rains
From small seed to sweet
Ripe mangoes

Savor joys
Of the first harvest
Pluck the toil

Carefree tree
Survives one more day
Mangoes ripe

Joy of first mango in the garden inspired this haiku. A message also being try to convey- most of us value things only when we realise it's worth. The mango tree lived a carefree life, from an unknown seed it had sprouted, had seen many summers, fed always by mother earth!. From now on, you get attention, water and love!

This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights. The prompt for this week is Joy.
